A Note from the Chuckling Cthulhu Crew

Black Sun, Greenlit!
It's 1971 and an enfant terrible of the film industry is
out to create a cinematic account of Nazi atomic research based on secret materials, eyewitness accounts and...more. The cast and crew have assembled for the final read-through of the script and to begin rehearsals at the director's cabin in the Sierras. No matter how much the producer frets about the budget, or the writer complains about his "vision" being distorted, the show will go on!

Note: this is a thematic sequel to Black Sun, White Light, but participation in that event is not required to play in this one.
Strange Aeons Presents: Wayward Traveller
A LARP set within the new Battlestar Galactica universe. Details forthcoming just as soon as Johanna can remind Alex to post them here because, trust her, it's a doozy of a game!.
Accepted for KublaCon '06. Visit their website at kublacon.com for more details

Universal Export Presents: The Sugar Game
At an industry convention in Havana, incongruous forces move to influence more than just the price of sugar. Fidel Castro will be making his first public appearance since seizing power, and the conference has fallen under significant international scrutiny. Rumor has it the CIA has agents in place to threaten Castro, whilst Castro's loyalists have infiltrated the CIA, in turn. The truth changes with every moment and the threat of war looms in the shadows. Non mythos.
Size: 15 - 25 Players
Setting: Havana, 1959
Intended locale:
TBD. We've pushed it off from ConQuest in favor of Blacksun, Greenlit! so perhaps we'll do it at KublaCon '07.
Universal Export Presents: In The Shadows, Cold Men Walk.
1957. Sputnik has made its mark on history. Kruschev's hold on the Politburo seems unshakeable. America is scrambling to keep up with the space race, and the British are watching their star descend in the political firmament. New nation states and old are scrambling for a place in the post-war era, and nowhere is that scramble fiercer - and more secretive - than in West Berlin.
This is a highly complex espionage/thriller event. Players will represent American, British, Soviet and German agents, all looking to advance their agendas - preferably without starting World War III. Non mythos.
Size: 20 - 30 players.
Setting: West Berlin, 1957 (or maybe Geneva, Johanna's still working on it)
Intended locale: TBD - 2007 or 2008
Deep Secrets
It's dark and lonely at the bottom of the ocean, but maybe this marine archeological expedition has more company than they anticipated. And why does Miskatonic University have such an interest in the wreck of the Bonnie Bess...?
Size: 10 - 20 players.
Setting: Modern day, on a research submarine, no less.
Intended Locale:
TBD - 2007 or 2008

I Left My Hearts In San Francisco
Final-year Time Academy students set out on a field trip which should have been purely routine. However, they didn't count on their Type 40 TARDIS refusing to cooperate... Entirely non-serious event - pre S27 canon!

Legal stuff: Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, the Cthulhu mythos and all that are the property of a whole bunch of people who are not us and they have lots of flesh-eating lawyers, to boot. Our events are merely respectful homage. We really love lawyers - we didn't mean the flesh-eating comment, honest! Please don't sue us...
